Haha! I'm sure it is! "Come - you really must see my cock"... :D I have to confess I've neglected mine. Clock, that is, not my... you know. The cock has become loose and is in need of attention. The one on the clock, I mean, not my... you know. ;) G x

I had to replace the working 'movement' bit of ours some years ago. The old hands wouldn't fit on the new movement, so I had to shorten the new second hand & stick the cock onto it. Dunno if you've ever realised, but it's just a bit of painted cardboard!! (Well, it is on ours & I'm guessing yours is the same.) love Moth

Just to continue the penis analagy, I'm pretty sure mine is all wood! :D Sanctuary wrote: Rumour is that Goff couldn't wait to get his hands on his :-) Hah! Don't believe everything you hear! ;) I don't know if the original poster would want to be reminded of it, so I'll anonymise it... The bloke replies –‘ aye, well get a couple of hands on that then’ (c) Chubby Brown c.1872 I'm really sorry, I’ve resisted the urge to post that all day. But couldn’t resist it any longer. Can't believe that thread was 9 years ago! G x

Kinda saddens me to read that conversation from 2003. A load of water has passed under the bridge since then. Not entirely unrelated to me wanting to sell the bloody clock :-)

I know what you mean... I felt the same when I read it. I think it was one of the first threads I joined in with! I might be wrong. A lot has changed since then, sadly. Ah, well. I highly recommend the clock, incidentally. Beautifully made. :) A great talking point! G x
