Same here, though we’re definitely around in the evening if anyone’s up for a pub dinner later.


The Red Lion’s OK but not brilliant food-wise, and it might be nice to go somewhere else after a day in Avebury (though somewhere not too far away). Last year, and the year before, we went to the White Horse at Winterbourne Bassett, but again it might be nice to go somewhere different this year (any suggestions?).

More importantly, being a Sunday, it might be a good idea to book a table pretty soon (so will need a rough idea of those interested). Time wise, how does meeting up at 7 and eating sometime between 7-8 sound?
