I seem to recall there was much made of the name of the tribe "DOGon" and "Sirius"...which is also known as "The DOG Star" and as well as having been bred with by Siriucans(DOG-people apparently) the tribe worshipped a DOG which saved them from drought.
Bit of a long stretch to believe that the English (early German???) word for DOG was in use long before European tribes were using it to describe canines ..did it come along with missionaries or is it a word given to us by astral visitors? Anyone recall offhand the famous psychic who frequently travelled to Venus(apropos of nothing really just refreshing my own memory banks)
