Neolithic barrow ages
Apr 08, 2012, 20:39
Anyone know if there is a definitive paper or book which addresses the relative ages of neolithic barrows, in particular earthern long barrows vs chambered barrows?

I've been pondering on the barrows of the peak, in particular the temporal relation between the earthern long barrows of the northern limestone plateau with the circular chambered barrows further south. Were they contemporary or did the chambered tombs come later? There seems to be some geographical crossover.
