A report in the local paper on Friday states that this excellent museum is due to have a £24 million 'face lift'. Part of the plans include moving the Iron Age village to another part of the site and the construction of a 'Bronze Age tomb using only techniques that would have been available at the time'. When built the tomb will be sealed and excavated decades later to chart its rate of decay.
