Fluorescent Green Algae
Nov 16, 2011, 10:25
Whilst out yesterday having a tramp around with a couple of my dogs at Minions Moor I passed by Rillaton Barrow. I have seen it before here in traces but there was a hell of a lot of fluorescent green algae on the floor which looked quite spectacular in the gloom. Anyone seen this elsewhere whilst out and about? Not knowing much about it myself I don't know if it thrives in warm or cold conditions but it's still very mild here in Cornwall.
