O/S map query

Hi folks, I am sure someone can help with this query:

When looking at O/S maps (something I do far too much!) I sometimes come across a (presumably) stanind stone marked Stone in 'normal' type.
Usually 'old stones' are marked as 'standing stone' in 'fancy' type.
Are the stones marked Stone in 'normal' type prehistoric or not?
I hope this makes sense?
