Annoying little buggers...............!

Midges and ticks ............little bastards!!!!!

Last year I was taking up to a dozen ticks off my mutt after every hill top walk. I dont find the common preventative treatments for dogs very effective. I've also heard that they are very carcenogenic.

I learned at a very early stage of my love for the hills (around Grantown) to protect myself from the little buggers (socks over my breeks!)

Worryingly - I'm learning of an increasing amount of people being diagnosed with Lymes disease - a lot of them who dont walk in the areas commonly associated with ticks.

As for midges - well.........
