Sherpa-Van Sacrifice
Aug 23, 2000, 23:38
I was trundling around Avebury surrounds with the Gibbonettes on Monday night, and our beloved Sherpa totally blew it struggling up Windmill Hill.

We limped up to the Ridgeway by the Sanctuary, and watched the sun go down over Silbury ... is this a message from the Ancients? :-)

Probably ... I told the kids about the Corn Monsters, half-man, half-rat, that live in the cornfields. Once they were safely sobbing in the wreckage of the van, I was watching shooting stars, and I Heard The CornMonsters :-O They were rustling about in the corn!

I feel humbled ... I once got sacked as a van driver for skiving off down to the Nine Stones of Winterbourne Abbas
