Woodruff Butt
Aug 21, 2000, 22:19
Woodruff Butte in Arizona contained six Hopi shrines five of which were bulldozed. One had great native american rock art but one day it was bulletted by unknown gunners. There is something called the Sacred Land Film Project which shows all of this.

I will not say anything regarding the dickheads-with-no-control-of-their-dicks who do these things or are burning the forests but would like to ask what the general situation of prehistoric sites is stateside.

Is it not the responsability of modern day americans to guard what seems to be... their... prehistoric legacy or are you indifferent to all this, Stonehenge being... your... supposed Heritage?

I feel as totally saddened by the systematic current obliteration of Hopi/Navajo,etc sites as by Stoney Littleton's dismal state. After all, megalithic rock art has similarities with native art so what those rubberheads are doing is destroying common ancient heritage, by trying to put the natives out of american history.

And is there a Modern Antiquarian of North America?
