I caught the last half hour of the Gawain & the Green Knight prog - looked superb. Will definately be watching them in full on iPlayer.

I spotted 2 tracks by The Fall, and one PJ Harvey, which is quite rare in a BBC4 documentary! Brilliantly done.

Some of the places he visited (Peak District?) looked pretty cool, too.

They would make a very curious pair. An early Saturday evening adaptation surely awaits.

They came and filmed in my tiny little coastal village for this series - not sure when it is on but look out for Sunderland Point (they will prattle on about the road getting cut off by the tide and the charmingly monikered Sambo's Grave) when they cover the North West of England!

They're just looking at a gorgeous spring with clouties hanging from a tree! Wonder which spring it is? No matter. Me happy. :)

[Edit: Excellent episode so far. The Winking Man, and now Lud Church (?) - isn't that one of the places that featured in Simon Armitage's Gawain & the Green Knight prog? Damn. I should just watch it, really. :D ]

They've moved on to Lud's Church (Peaks) now...
