Please look at my stone
Jul 27, 2010, 20:10
Look, I went for a walk and I found this
http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/102709018467078256637/Stone#

What do you think, please? It's about a metre high. It looks rather old doesn't it?

I do expect it isn't old enough. But I felt chuffed to find it, it's not on any maps I've found. Any thoughts are welcome.

Nice! Prehistoric stone re-used as rubbing post? Or later? Hmm.

Whereabouts is it Rhiannon? (Or is it secret?)

Looks "old" to me! :)

Probably reused as a rubbing stone or summat, but it has the look of summat much older, n'est-ce pas? Good find! :)

looks interesting, I presume the hole is definately manmade, is the stone a standing stone or part of something bigger?
Holed stones always make me think Intihuatana or "hitching post of the sun"

A yoni stone ... possibly.
