The point is??? That reminds me did anyone see the BBC4 film on Sunday night called 'The Wave', a German film that set out to show how autocracy comes about (using just a group of students). A disturbing concept that can be applied to almost any group where the collective psyche supercedes the individual.

Catchy, but the vocals could do with a little work, I think. One of those Shaman 'hats' would do a treat on the office casual dress day, though. Having said that, I doubt if I'd even get a second glance on the train nowadays... ha! Probably some nice man on a stag 'do'. Oh deer. Sorry. Seriously I think the best way to gain solid support for an idea is to back it up with some serious academia. By all means provoke, be unusal, but have substance behind it. To illustrate the point, when I first heard Mr Cope was researching a book on standing stones - as I recall the working title was 'The Heads Guide to The Standing Stones of Britain' - I thought 'this is gonna be mighty embarrassing'. We all know the end result and the impact it has had on many people's lives, for me precisely because it was so substantial and well thought out, but with that irreverant angle.

The modern take on druids (and witches for that matter) Makes me want to hurt people. I get the feeling they havn't the foggiest what they are supposed to be doing so have just made it as OTT as possible. I met a girl recently who claimed to be a witch who had a pentangle tattooed on her chest (attractive) and a huge picture of a man dressed as satan above her fireplace....

Don't know about anyone else but I like a nice bit of druid inspired droney metal. Could have done with some more machine gun effect drums and some white noise, but otherwise so far so good. What else you got?
