I've known for quite a while now about a circular feature on one of my local moors (in Derbyshire) 150 - 200 metres diameter that only appears as a "crop mark", well it's not actually in a crop as such but in grassland.
You can't see it on Google earth etc and it's almost impossible to photograph but when pointed out it's very clearly visible to the naked eye, i pointed it out to another TMA member today and he could clearly see it
It's situated within a well known prehistoric landscape but on quite steep slope.
I don't know of any ancient feature that would fit the bill despite much research.
Anyone any suggestions as to what it could be. ?
Cheers.
