it fell all to pieces!
Aug 16, 2000, 04:30
hello everyone,

this spring i had a wonderful trip to the UK visiting relatives, and i brought along my copy of TMA, hoping to fit in a few visits to some of the sites during my stay. it went well- my father took to the idea of visiting stone circles (and not surprisingly - they were far and away the best thing we did there, castles get old really fast- so to speak- and london was just- ugh) so we ended up trekking to about half a dozen, all of them breathtaking, my favorite being the druid's circle in wales above penmaenmawr. which was all the more magical for the unexpected driving rain we hiked through to get there, not really knowing how far away it was or if we were going in the right direction at all. didn't have a change of clothes, either! no weather like that in texas :)

so i was really glad to have it. but i have a problem with both my copies (i bought one to give to a friend who loves julian as well) and i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? right from the first time i opened the book, half the pages fell out. it was actually kind of helpful, as i would take the page of the site we were looking with me while we hiked around looking for it, but after a while, it's getting hard to read the introduction and keep it all together. i thought it might be a fluke, but the same thing happened with the second copy i gave to my friend.

did a certain edition have binding problems?
