Hi Moss, cheers for Midmill. The council and Trump's mob have joined together with the school to show how to plant marram grass. This and other eco subjects will continue to be studied at the school as well as the history e.g. what the crofters did etc. How long term Trump and co are interested I don't know. Heres the STV take on it:

(Check the picture of Trump jnr, nice clean hands)

As for bribes and such like, school sweeteners for public consumption. The school football team received:

I received this email from TUT yesterday:

Trump's Masterplan is a Disaster Plan
Trump chose pancake day to announce the masterplan for his luxury housing development, hotel and golf course for the elite. The Press & Journal insensitively published the headline 'Balmedie Resort Will Have It All', which it won't. Tripping Up Trump exists to ensure Trump won't have the homes of local families as part of his insensitive plan.

Trump still needs Aberdeenshire Council and the national government to use compulsory purchase orders to remove local families from their homes. 74% of Scottish people oppose Trump on this basis. Donald used to trumpet 93% public support for his project. Trump's support is now just 13%.

ACTION - If you haven't done so already, please sign our petition today. If you have signed, please ask all your friends to do so. Help reach our goal of 25,000 signatures before the next critical Aberdeenshire Council meeting, where we will deliver your voice - SIGN HERE (see web-site link)

Local Jobs = Local Joke
Trump's plan doesn't show any sign of fulfilling his promise to provide many hundreds of local jobs to boost the local economy. In fact, Trump's promise of local jobs is now becoming a local joke:

Question: Did you hear the one about Donald Trump creating hundreds of local Aberdeenshire jobs?

Answer: He employed the Irish.
In fairness, Trump did recently exploit local school children to help destroy the Menie Dunes - a site of special scientific interest.
But this is no joke. Trump has employed an Irish firm to build the golf course and his recently appointed head green keeper is also originally from Ireland.

Now we learn:
The golf course architects are from Oxford.
The legal team are from London and the Central Belt.
The masterplanning architects are from the Central Belt.
The clubhouse architects are from Leeds.
The environmental consultants are from the Central Belt too.

So where are all the jobs for the people of Aberdeenshire?

Consider this: Trump plans to build accommodation for hundreds of on-site staff. Does he expect local people to believe they will need to live on site? It's obvious that the vast majority of jobs aren't going to be for local people.

ACTION - Please donate to the campaign to protect local families from the foreign private interest called Trump.

The further Trump gets into this project, the closer he gets to the bunker that will stop him ......

Many thanks.

Looked at the Facebook and twitter sites for Tripping up Trump which could do with more input I think given the value of high public profile; the Newgrange/Slane bypass standoff got off to a good rolling start last week, lots of exchange which is no bad thing when fighting the cause ;). but............ if Scotland goes down the Irish path in an economy drive every move becomes like chess on the board...

I have copied for information below the latest email from TUT, received earlier today.

Dear Friends,

Trump's launching his new Masterplan to the public this Friday. The problem is the family’s homes threatened by the forced evictions have been airbrushed off the map. This may have been a careless mistake by the Trump team, but considering who we are dealing with it can only be seen as a dangerous step towards the looming threat of Compulsory Purchase (CPO). A Trump offical was quoted saying in the Times recently that the stalemate will become an issue when work is due to begin on the holiday accodomadtion.

Last year Trump approached the Aberdeenshire council to ask them to use the CPO powers for his housing and golf complex and still the council are yet to rule this option out. Removing the family’s homes from the masterplan is the latest arrogant and insensitive tactic by Trump to get what he wants. The threatened homeowners have again and again stated they will never sell. Homeowner John Munro only this week stated in the paper, “I have no plans to sell.” When will Trump let them now his true intentions or otherwise leave them in peace?

Action
Tripping Up Trump and the family’s under threat will be meeting this Friday at 10am to see the plans on display and protest about the missing homes, please come along and get involved! Trump is already currently building on the priceless dunes, it would be an even greater disaster if we also allowed him to build on top of these families homes.

We need your help and support, and you can be back at work by the afternoon!!!

Friday 10 am – 12pm at the Udny Arms Hotel, Newbourgh

Action
If you can’t make the campaign this Friday then please help by submitting an objecting to the masterplan by the 17th of March on the following grounds:

Failing to acknowledge the existence of those properties on the masterplan drawing and related documents.
Failing to provide alternative plans to be implemented in the event that TIGLS fails to purchase those properties.
Objections can be lodged by clicking here

Thank you for all your support and hopefully see you on Friday,

Tripping Up Trump
