This is getting boring Gordon so I'll finish but I just want to point out that that's two of us you've implied have defective memories now. In truth though, it's worse. A lot of us set up an online discussion after Foamhenge and not a single person was in the least doubt we had witnessed overwhelming evidence that dragging was vastly more efficient than rowing, to a degree that was frankly embarrassing to those of us that had previously anticipated otherwise.

You are entitled to express whatever views you wish on the subject, to Americans, Russians or anyone else but I hope that won't include failing to mention what dozens of friendly witnesses all saw and concluded that day. That just wouldn't be right. In any case, if they set up a test themselves they'll see exactly what we saw so assuring them otherwise is hardly a sustainable long term strategy.
