End of the ISS in 2024
Jan 30, 2018, 18:46
So they're shutting the front door and popping the key back through the letterbox in 2024 when the International Space Station will be set on a re entry course which should see most of it burn up before crashing into the Pacific Ocean zone where all the other giant spaceships that are too big to totally disintegrate end up.
Tell me that this isn't a backwards step. Tell me that the space community has plans for an even bigger and better version and that this isn't the concorde scenario all over again.
Anybody got any idea? Bases on the moon and Mars, tesla cars in one billion year orbits of our celestial bodies, 3/4 light speed to exo planets, mining comets?
