Polish food
Feb 24, 2017, 20:48
I tripped up over aronia juice - chokeberry in N. America - a while back. An aquired taste, praps, is added to Pomegreat juice too. Lost my source of supply but knew Poles love it. Anyway, finally got round to tracking down a Polish deli near me: result re juice, bought the jam too....but boy, what lovely other foodstuffs they had. Kerching. Anyone else like these things? And btw, if you're a gardener, aronias have some of the finest autumn colours you will find...beat deciduous berberis and blueberries any day.

I'll tell you what's scrummy, poppy seed cake, rye bread, borscht & Polish sausage. Also chewy smoked cheese.
