Used to dislike it and found it got in the way of trying to listen to certain things.

However, something eventually clicked and now, depending on the music, context etc I like it and on occasion, love it, especially if the music is at the very extreme end of things and the vocals sound like the guy is puking his lungs up and they're getting caught on his ribcage as his throat starts to shred. It can be quite entertaining.

ps There is something hilariously satisfying about seeing a band do it live in full on "waaaaauuuurghhhhhh!" mode!
