Sham 69 might seem like a joke, but I'll stick my neck out and say that Jimmy Pursey is (or at least was) a top bloke. Met him before a Sham 69 gig (I was playing rekkids at it) back in the day, and he took me over the pub and bought me a pint. He really was the salt of the earth, and I won't hear a word said against him!
