Thanks to the expanded edition of Floored Genius 2 I now have two versions of this legendary (and classic) tune so I just wanted a bit of background/info to the tracks if you have any.
The two versions I have are;
Sqwubbsy Versus King Plank - off Floored Genius 3 which has a little bit of info but nothing regarding musicians, dates etc
The Ballad Of King Plank - off Floored Genius 2 expanded, I couldn't afford to buy the CD so just had to purchase the track itself, therefore I have no session details/date etc.
Are there any other versions knocking around?
From the mention in Repossessed I am aware that the tune predates or is from around the same time as Peggy Suicide (which can be confirmed by the general feel/vibe and the bass part from Hanging Out.. and Mother Sky for that matter), other than that its over to you for enlightenment..........
