So Phoenix Records (who don't seem to have a website) just put out two Les Rallizes Denudes CDs, "Blind Baby Has Its Mothers Eyes" and "Heavier Than a Death in the Family". The word online is (actually there are only two reviews so far) that "Death" is made up of five songs from the "Live '77" set, available in many different bootlegs, plus a stray track from 1973. Nobody seems to know what "Blind Baby" is- when/where it was recorded, etc. Some of the song titles appear on the more complete "Live '77" releases- they may or may not be different versions. One reviewer said these new CDs sound better than earlier releases.
Point being this shit's confusing. Does anyone know anything about this band, or what specifically these new releases are? Has anyone bought them, listened to them, and compared them with the others? Should I buy these two new CDs or try to find the older "Live '77"? Somebody must be able to help here. Right?
