I haven't had time to read the whole thread but has anyone mentioned the documentary that's currently out in the UK - When you're strange? I really enjoyed it - some great footage and wonderful sound. I saw some negative reviews so wasn't expecting too much but I would really recommend it. I'm sure some of the reviews were by critics who were just bored with the Doors, another didn't like the fact there weren't so many talking heads so that they couldn't understand why the doors should be considered great. But actually I thought that was a strength of the film, Johnny Depp narrates the basic story and the footage and music does the rest.
