Sure, I despise Take That, and abhor even more the rise of its profoundly arrogant once-ex member (that's "member" as in "prick") as "high art" since his departure from that pre-Cowell manufactured pop pap act. But let's get rational about this. The only people who care and who will subscribe to this "news" (jeez, I'm running out of my allocation of inverted commas here) are that small proportion of middle-aged women and gay men who haven't taken the time or effort to get into real music in the near twenty years since this apology for entertainment was first thrust upon us.
Leave them alone to wet their knickers and get on with it. It won't affect our joy of greater things. Like (I'm sure) all of you discerning dudes, I've got access to more than enough fine music to keep my ears safely distant from a new Take That album. Let us ROCK.

I quite agree. I dont understand this insane hating of groups because they make music you dont like.
They are a successful group, have a valid place in pop history, and are good at what they do. I would, however, very gladly never hear another of their songs as long as I live!!
They only bit i would disagree is where you say "the Small number of people" tat would be interested.
Lets make no mistake, they are huge, and millions will lap this news up and consider it important.
Like I said, unsurprising or not, I would take that level of failure ANYDAY
