Recommendations, please

It's just over halfway through the year and I'm continuing last years trend and feeling increasingly out of touch. Everything I've bought this year seems to be by tried and tested (by me) acts. Nothing by anyone 'new'.

So, who'd like to recommend a debut album (or the album where someone's taken an abrupt turn or finally made the record they threatened to) from the first part of this year? And, I'll check it out.

(Just the one each. And, I promise to at least investigate them all)
