Used to play in a band called Perfect Stranger for ten years playing gigs around Britain and Europe. I played keyboards/brass/backing vox. Basically we signed to record company that shafted us and didn't really put any of our stuff out saying they "waited for a window of opportunity" According to Pete Easton, on Radio Scotland and Tennents Live we were going to massive. Sadly that didn't happen. The legal people, wisely, told us to remove almost all trace of our existence so former companies couldn't use our music illegally. That explains why there is hardly anything about us on the web which is a shame cos when it was good it was very good. Many bands must have a similar story. When we split I continued to play for other Scottish bands but thru ill health had to stop work/playing. When I'd recovered I started up by myself, 2001, in the music concentrating on teaching and professional gigs.
But thats about to change as two of us are back rehearsing with a new drummer, bassist and vocalist. (a different name perhaps as well) Some old stuff might be played but almost all brand new stuff will be done. When its ready, Squid, do you fancy putting your vibe onto some of it? (late summer probably)
