Many are called...and now it's poor Micky's turn. Another great and distinctive musician leaves us, albeit with a fine recorded legacy for us to remember him by.

I last saw Man play a stunning two hour+ set to about fifty people at the Whitley Bay Dome in 2001. Micky and Deke were on fine form, trading riffs and lead licks like blood brothers - but the real highlights came when Micky slid that bottleneck on that vintage SG to make it sing like an angel. Unforgettable. Thank you, Michael - and rest in peace.
