I've got the playlists down already for shows on Protest Songs and "Jingle Jangle Mornings" ('80s jangly rock), but here's the last one I finished:

Chicks With Licks.

I had a bit of a cold when I recorded it and sounded kind of like Kermit the Frog, so if I resort to more dodgy accents than usual, you know why. It's all about the music, anyway. Features cuts by: Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Phew (with backing by Can), OOIOO, Essential Logic, Julie Driscoll, The Raincoats, Gal Costa, ESG, Delta 5, Dagmar Krause and a few others.

Women get the fuzzy end of the lollypop when it comes to the rock industry, despite clearly being just as if not more talented than most of their male counterparts. This show attempts to redress the balance with some strange and funky bursts of energy from these quirky rock vixens.
