I used to go to the Bandwagon in Kingsbury most Sunday nights c.78/79 to hangout with friends and always had a great time ( well, the bits i can remember anyway ). As a 16 or 17 year old at the time i wasn't exactly difficult to please, mind.

Gotta say the sound system / PA was mightily impressive and hearing the likes of Motorhead or Zeppelin blasting through it was something i really looked forward to. Think i stopped going when the NWOBHM starting dominating procedures at the expense of old skool hard rock, guess i just can't handle ( and still can't ) those widdly diddly guitars.

As an aside, i love the track Teenage Metalhead by the New Lou Reeds on the HH compilation, the lyrics especially, all that stuff about running around in a Camaro and getting wasted really takes me back to the Bandwagon, er, only we were on FS1E's and RD200's :-(
