Not the Wire tribute act who famously supported the real thing on a US tour before tribute bands were such money-spinners, but a bloke on a small Scottish label specialising in re-living early 80’s synth pop. Life Support Machine is a fab example and – somewhat bizarrely I guess – there’s a really good cover of Galaxie 500’s Tugboat.
