Just finished watching the metal documentary, loved it. I'm not fond of the Judas Priest and the likes style of twiddly metal, though 'Breaking The Law' makes me laugh everytime I hear it (used to good effect in the film Adventureland, soundtracking a chase through a funfair). Used to be a big metal head during my school years, Maiden, Metallica, WASP, Anthrax and the like but moved onto other music, but the love of a riff stayed with me.

Really enjoyed the the footage of Blue Cheer, Vanilla Fudge, Sabbath, Budgie, northern Britain etc. Great quotes, great blokes, loved their down to earth attitudes and the guy from Sabbath getting weepy remembering the Vietnam vets in the wheelchairs when they played War Pigs. Brilliant stuff.
