Opium Warlords is currently recording their second album The forerunner of Occult Ambient Rock from Finland, Opium Warlords, is currently recording their second album TASTE MY SWORD OF UNDERSTANDING. The recordings, engineered by Jouni Leppikangas, started in March and are taking place in Lohja, Finland. The album will be released in 2010. Opium Warlords’ 2009 debut “Live at Colonia Dignidad” got rave reviews from the press and was praised for its slow, heavy and uncompromising sound, not to mention the dark humor and general weirdness surrounding the band. Thank you! That is great news indeed! The madness and sanity are in great need in these parts. I don't know how to really explain how necessary all this bile and beauty has become. Doom Metal is only a genre! This music is, progressive, experimental, rock and roll music. Long live Sir Albert Witchfinder, long may your death shreiks and suicide soliloquys grace us!
