A new low water mark for law interpretation.
The state of U.S. courts is dismal from the Supreme Court on down. There's been a whole lot of right wing-friendly decisions being handed down lately.

On escaping religious persecution, several new-breed followers left to settle on alien lands, destroyed the indigenous population, along with their beliefs, imported slaves and invented cars.
Religion was driven underground and as a result, grew stronger in collection plates and blah blah blah. Bloody zeitgeist.
Flash Forward 2010 - hip-hop's been stale the last few years, i'm refusing to take a bath, and people are discussing the relative options of owning a Kindle over burning a book. Or several.
Tumultuous times, long in the making.
