The Copenhagen climate talks were meant to have the world come together and make a legally binding agreement to curtail climate change in line with what science demands. The actual deal was so bad that many observers believe it would be better if there had been no deal at all.
So what went wrong and why?
Jess Worth, editor of New Internationalist magazine, was inside the talks and saw what happened. Her report, Blood on the Summit Floor, is the new U-Know feature article.

And once again self interest "hides under the cloak of the common good".
"Bullying and arm-twisting" is a very good description of what was going on.
