Well only priests washed themselves and cared for their homes in those days i expect, i guess the rest of the neolithic people were right tramps, well how could they not be, bothering stones all day, defleshing their relatives, hunting large game, no time for cleanliness.

plus, what archaeo worth his salt would find a "normal" house.
