No.
I like meat.
But its all... dead...
lol, even i draw the line at eating it alive. !
at least it would be fresh then...
I prefer my meat quiet. 1
Besides, isn't a lettuce leaf "dead" once you've picked it. ?
Yes but it will grow a new leaf if you leave the root. All fruit will make more. Most things will come back next year. If you could take a chop off a pig and it would grow the flesh back then I wouldnt mind it as much.
For me its the fact that I believe everything has a soul. And there is no need to eat meat, Im very healthy and so is everyone else in my family on a full veggie and egg free diet (my sister, her husband and baby are all vegan and are perfectly healthy normal people, not limp wristed hippies!). Therefore it would be dying for my pleasure, not for a necessity, which strikes me as a bit odd. Just my opinion. Been aveggie long enough to never bring it up and not to try to get people to be veggie. Eat what ya like, I do :)
I must admit one of the highlights of visiting Avebury, since the village shop opened, is sampling the sausages sold there, they are the best i've ever tasted.
Nom nom nom.
Sorry.
