I found the Labyrinth this weekend. It is easily located beside the coastal bath about 1 kilometer to the east of Millendreath.

I must look in and see this maze as I'm only up the road at North Hill in Cornwall. Thanks for mentioning it.

Lovin' it! Cheers, Lubin - looks like a really nicely made maze - with a wee menhir in the middle as an added bonus! A further bonus appears to be the view...

We don't normally get around those parts when we visit Cornwall, but might have to review that oversight... :)

Nice pic!

Hi tjj

Penzance to Looe by train is a great day out...about £8 return I think...You change at Liskeard and trundle down the valley to Looe on our wonderful branch line.

The maze is about an hours walk to the east along the Coast Path...

If you return to Liskeard by bus then you could hop off at Duloe for an hour and see the Stone circle.

alert me before you come down...might be able to meet up.

Mr H

Am off on the 8.30am train to Penzance tomorrow morning and have photocopied lots of pages from TMA including the page on Duloe Stone Circle. Relating the recent discussions about wells I found this small extract fascinating.
At the nearby St Cybi's Well, a local farmer removed the stone basin from the well, whereupon he fell desperately ill and had endless misfortune. This wrath of the Water Goddess was mirrored at St Patrick's Well in County Limerick. A local man stole the well money and drank it away that night but on emerging from the pub, he was struck stone dead of no apparent causes.

If I have time to do the coastal walk from Looe to the maze I will - it looks worth the effort.
