These two are on the golf course and show natural markings, one obvious the other not so and at first glance appear cup like.

sorry - just spotted this. Some of those marks look pretty interesting - many look natural, especially those around the edges of the rocks, but some certainly look like they warrant further investigation.
The possible standing stone/cup marked rock that I found is on Wharncliffe Chase. Facing the lodge from the Hob Stones on Brownlow Roacher (with the little crags to your right), it is a little way back from the wooded area by the lodge to your right on the open fields. I guess the best thing to do is show you sometime.
Normally I'd be quite dubious. But with a settlement not so very far away and other Bronze Age activity in the area, it's a tempting possibility!
